Brand: ABB Description: Sequence of Events Digital Input Module Condition: Brand New Certificate: COO TEST REPORT WARRANTY LETTER Warranty: 1 year Inventory Qty: 4 Payment Term: T/T Shipping Port: Shenzhen ABB IMSED01 is mainly used to collect state transitions of digital signals in industrial processes and forward these events to the system main module for recording and processing. This is achieved through jumpers, switches, and terminal units on the circuit board, as well as shunt configuration modules and I/O channels.

Product Features
ABB IMSED01 can handle up to 16 digital field inputs, focusing on capturing signal state transition events. Each input channel uses optical isolation to improve interference resistance.
ABB IMSED01 supports multiple input voltages and can be individually programmed to 24VDC (±10%), 48VDC (±10%), 125VDC (±10%), or 120VAC (±10%, for system control logic only).
ABB IMSED01 communicates with the Harmony controller via the I/O expansion bus, and the controller configures and accesses it using function code 242 (SOE Digital Event Interface).
ABB IMSED01 can coexist with the IMSET01 module on the same I/O expansion bus segment, supporting up to 63 IMSED01 modules in conjunction with 1 IMSET01 module.
The digital status transition events it collects are aggregated at the Harmony control unit level and forwarded to the INSEM01 main module for centralized management.
Product Using Principle
ABB IMSED01 continuously monitors connected digital input signals, capturing “on-off” or “off-on” state transition events.
The collected events are aggregated with information from ABB IMSED01 module at the HCU level and then forwarded to the INSEM01 main module via the I/O expansion bus.
The INSEM01 main module time-sorts the events, stores them in an internal database, and notifies the human-machine interface and transmits data for report generation when trigger conditions are met.
ABB IMSED01 relies on the INTKM01 time synchronization main module in the system (via an RS-485 link) to achieve system-wide time synchronization, ensuring the accuracy of event timestamps.
