Product Overview

The IS400TCASH1AFD is part of the PCAA core analog module in the General Electric (GE) Mark VIe control system. It is a high-performance, high-reliability, industrial-grade analog signal input/output module. Designed for gas turbine control systems, it provides extensive analog signal processing capabilities and supports interfacing with a variety of industrial sensors and actuators, including thermocouples, 4-20mA current loops, LVDTs (Linear Variable Differential Transformers), servo drives, and vibration (seismic) signals.

The GE IS400TCASH1AFD supports up to 25 thermocouple signals (covering E, J, K, T, and S types).

10 channels of 4-20mA current input, among which two can be configured as 4-20mA or ±10V voltage input.


Two 4-20mA outputs and three redundant (TMR) 4-20mA outputs (implemented via TCAT).

6-channel LVDT excitation output and 12-channel LVDT feedback input.

6-channel servo coil driver, each supporting 10mA output.

12-channel vibration sensor input.

High-Reliability Design


Supports single-mode, dual-mode and triple redundancy (TMR) configurations.

The built-in electronic ID ensures the correct matching of modules, terminal boards and cables.

The protection functions include soft start, current limiting and power management.


Flexible Configuration Options


Module configuration, calibration and diagnosis are achieved through ToolboxST.

Supports frame rates of 40ms and 10ms.

The optional TCAT terminal board enables signal fan-out to multiple PCAA modules.

A 28V DC ±5% voltage input is provided via the P5 interface.
