2.Describe
ABE040 is a VM600 system frame, 19” 6U high, 15 slots for fixing single-slot or double-slot cards, accommodating up to 12 functional cards (
MPC4/AMC8/XMV16), suitable for cabinet or panel installation in industrial environments. CPUM/MPC4/AMC8/XMC16 and other processing cards and RPS6U power supplies are installed at the front of the frame, and IOCN/IOC4T/IOC8T/XIO16T/RLC16/IRC4 and other IO and relay cards, as well as power input backplanes, are installed at the rear. Slots without cards are covered with blind plates.
ABE040 has an integrated VME backplane bus inside, and all cards, including power supply, signal processing, data acquisition, input and output, are electrically isolated. The frame requires one or two RPS6U power modules for single or redundant power supply. When redundant power supply is used, each power supply is 50% loaded. If one fails, the other switches to 100%. There is a power failure relay output at the rear of the frame, which can be set to operate when any one or all loses power.
