Product Features
ABB PFEA112-20 3BSE050091R20 supports dual-channel tension sensor inputs and uses a PID algorithm to adjust the output signal (4-20mA or 0-10V) in real time, controlling the actuator to achieve tension fluctuations of ≤±0.5% FS.
ABB PFEA112-20 3BSE050091R20 comes standard with RS-485 (Modbus RTU) and Profibus-DP (DP-V0) interfaces, and supports industrial Ethernet protocols such as EtherCAT and PROFINET via a communication card.
ABB PFEA112-20 3BSE050091R20 features a built-in 2×16 character LCD display, supporting multi-language interfaces including English and Chinese, and can display real-time tension values, alarm status, and parameter settings menus. The keypad panel supports quick parameter configuration and fault diagnosis.
ABB PFEA112-20 3BSE050091R20 supports tension unit switching (N, kN, kg, lbs), sensor calibration, and filter parameter adjustment, adapting to different material properties and process requirements.
Product Using Principle
Tension sensors (such as the ABB PFCL/PFTL series) convert material tension into mV-level analog signals, which are input into the differential amplifier of the PFEA112-20 module. The module incorporates a 330Hz excitation source to eliminate environmental noise interference.
The microprocessor amplifies, filters, and performs analog-to-digital conversion on the sensor signal. After comparing it with the preset tension value, it calculates the control quantity using a PID algorithm and outputs it to the actuator (such as a servo drive). Users can adjust the PID parameters (P, I, D) via software to optimize dynamic response.
Data can be uploaded to a PLC or host computer via RS-485 or Profibus-DP for remote monitoring and parameter configuration. When supporting the Modbus TCP protocol, it can be integrated with a SCADA system to enable production data traceability and analysis.
