TB511-ETH is a compact, integrated terminal base designed by ABB for the AC 500 series modular PLC. 1SAP111100R0270 is not only a physical installation platform for the CPU processor module and communication module, but also integrates local I/O bus, power distribution, communication interface and key Ethernet connection functions.
This base adopts an "integrated" design, directly integrating the Ethernet communication ports that usually need to be configured separately onto the base. Users only need to insert the AC 500 CPU module into its sole processor slot and choose whether to install additional communication modules in the communication slot as needed to immediately obtain a complete PLC station with an RJ45 Ethernet interface. This built-in Ethernet interface supports the standard TCP/IP protocol and is used to implement PLC programming, HMI/SCADA communication, Web server access, and PLC-to-PLC data exchange. TB511-ETH is an ideal starting point for building small to medium-sized automation applications or serving as a distributed I/O master station.
