Product Features
Bently Nevada 2300/20-02 has 2 vibration input channels (supporting sensors such as accelerometers, Velomitor, Proximitor, etc.), and 1 dedicated velocity/keyphase channel (supporting proximity probes, magneto-electric pickups, proximity switches, etc.), which can be synchronously sampled for advanced diagnostics.
Bently Nevada 2300/20-02 provides key parameters such as peak/peak acceleration (pk), acceleration rms, peak/peak velocity, velocity rms, peak/peak displacement (pp), displacement rms, RPM, and supports alarm configuration.
Bently Nevada 2300/20-02 contains 1 base measurement set per channel, with the ability to add 2 additional bandpass measurements and multiple nX measurements (depending on device capability).
Bently Nevada 2300/20-02 has 2 configurable 4-20mA outputs (powered by an internal current loop), with outputs proportional to the full scale of the measurement, which support interfacing with DCS systems (note: not compatible with external power supply loops).
Bently Nevada 2300/20-02 has 2 dry contact relays that can be configured as normally energized or normally de-energized to trigger external alarms or controls.
Bently Nevada 2300/20-02 has 3 BNC buffered outputs (2 vibration signals, 1 speed signal) with short circuit and EMI protection. 10/100 Base-T Ethernet with Modbus over Ethernet support, configurable via Bently Nevada Monitor Configuration software (with RSA encryption).
Product Functions
Bently Nevada 2300/20-02 receives signals (vibration velocity, acceleration, displacement, etc.) from accelerometers, Velomitor and other sensors through the vibration input channel, and acquires RPM or key phasor signals through the velocity channel, all of which are synchronized with independent 24-bit ADC sampling.
Bently Nevada 2300/20-02 filters (configurable bandpass filter), converts (e.g. acceleration to speed/displacement), calculates real-time parameters (peak-to-peak, RMS, etc.), and analyzes nX components (e.g. 1X, 2X, etc., reflecting faults such as rotor imbalance, misalignment, etc.) in relation to the rotational speed.
Bently Nevada 2300/20-02 compares the real-time parameters with the preset “Alert” and “Danger” thresholds, activates the corresponding LEDs when the thresholds are exceeded, and triggers external alarms (e.g., audible and visual alarms, shutdown signals) via relay outputs.
Bently Nevada 2300/20-02 transmits key parameters to the DCS via 4-20mA output, and realizes Modbus communication and configuration via Ethernet; it automatically captures data before and after the event in case of an alarm to ensure fault traceability.
