Installation Notes

Casing Support: C + D = 5.2 inches < 300mm, no additional support is required. However, if the configuration is modified in the future, the support kit (Part Number 37948-01) must be added.

Penetration Length Adjustment: Option D (2.7 inches) has an adjustment range of ±0.5 inches (13mm). During installation, ensure the probe tip is precisely aligned with the target to avoid signal interference.

Hazardous Area Applications: This configuration (A = 34) supports optional hazardous area certification, but requires a certified proximitor and extension cable. Otherwise, it is suitable for non-hazardous areas only.

Temperature Warning: Avoid operation below -34°C to prevent seal failure. Storage temperatures below -51°C are acceptable, but prolonged exposure may damage the probe.

General Recommendations: Use an O-ring to ensure a tight seal.
