Bently Nevada 24701-34-05-25-027-00-02 is CSA certified as an explosion-proof enclosure for use in North American Class I/II/III hazardous areas (Divisions 1/2, Groups C-G) and meets CSA Type 4 enclosure standards (dust and waterproof for outdoor / dusty environments).

Bently Nevada 24701-34-05-25-027-00-02 adapts to the 3300 XL 8mm probe with connector protection (A option “34”) and supports “Multiple Approvals” for intrinsically safe applications.

Bently Nevada 24701-34-05-25-027-00-02 comes with a bracket adapter (2.5 inches) and customized probe penetration length (2.7 inches), and the mounting threads (F option “02”) are designed to be 5-7 all-thread for enhanced mounting strength and rigidity (to be used with non-00 bracket adapters).

Bently Nevada 24701-34-05-25-027-00-02 is stainless steel for corrosion resistance, and the adapted 3300 XL 8mm probe is stable from - 51°C to + 177°C (operating and storage).

Product Functions

Bently Nevada 24701-34-05-25-027-00-02 functions as a protection and mounting carrier for the proximity probe by means of the following:

Mechanical fixation: The housing secures the 3300 XL 8mm probe to the outside of the device by means of a threaded structure (F:02) and a bracket adapter (C:25), ensuring a constant clearance between the probe and the target surface (e.g. rotating mechanical axes) (refer to the nominal clearance of 1.3 mm, Table B).

Signal monitoring: The probe monitors the distance to the target surface and transmits an electrical signal to the transmitter system (e.g. 3300 XL series) for real-time monitoring of vibration, displacement and other mechanical condition parameters.

Environmental protection: Stainless steel housing and explosion-proof design (CSA certified) protect the probe from harsh environments (e.g. hazardous areas, corrosive media) and ensure signal stability.
