Product Features
Bently Nevada 330130-080-12-05 has an anti-liquid leakage design, the FluidLoc cable option prevents oil and other liquids from leaking out of the equipment through the inside of the cable for scenarios where there is a risk of liquid penetration (e.g. turbines, hydraulic equipment).
Bently Nevada 330130-080-12-05 has enhanced connector protection with a connector boot that provides additional environmental protection (against dust, moisture, corrosion) and supports field installation; the connectors are gold-plated brass or beryllium copper for corrosion resistance, and are finger-tight (with a “click” sound to indicate locking), requiring no tools, and with a locking mechanism that prevents loosening.
Bently Nevada 330130-080-12-05 features 75Ω triaxial construction, FEP insulation for low-loss signal transmission, and a patented CableLoc design that provides 330N (75lbf) of tensile strength to prevent the cable from being disconnected from the probe/sensor connection.
Bently Nevada 330130-080-12-05 supports quick assembly with 3300 XL series components and is compatible with high-density DIN rail mounted or conventional panel mounted Proximitor sensors.
Product Using Principle
Bently Nevada 330130-080-12-05 as an extension kit for the 3300 XL 8mm Proximity Sensor System, it works in conjunction with the Probe and Proximitor Sensor based on the eddy current effect:
1.The Proximitor sensor generates a high-frequency alternating electromagnetic field, which is transmitted to the probe via an extension cable;
2.The electromagnetic field at the tip of the probe induces eddy currents on the conductive surface under test (e.g., a journal), which generate a reverse magnetic field that affects the impedance of the probe;
3.The extension cable transmits the signal of the probe impedance change back to the Proximitor sensor, which converts it into a voltage signal (static position or dynamic vibration value) proportional to the “Proximitor Tip - Surface Distance”, which is ultimately output to the monitoring system.
