ABB DSSA165 48990001-LY is a dedicated industrial isolating switch power supply for ABB Advant Master DCS. It mainly provides stable DC power for DCS cabinet controllers, I/O cards and field two-wire instruments, and is widely used in power and chemical automatic control cabinets. DSSA165 48990001-LY adopts the principle of isolated AC-DC conversion with PFC correction: after EMI anti-interference filtering and bridge rectification, it is converted to high-voltage DC, then through high-frequency inversion and electrical isolation of the transformer, and finally through secondary rectification to stabilize the output DC voltage. The output voltage is stabilized through closed-loop feedback to resist grid fluctuations. On-site, the rack is installed in a fixed manner. After wiring is completed and no short circuit is checked, power is directly applied. The equipment automatically self-checks, and if the power indicator light remains on constantly, it indicates normal operation. It uses natural air cooling and does not require a cooling fan. This power supply supports a wide AC input range of 85-264VAC, with a conversion efficiency exceeding 90%. It features self-locking protection against overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent, short circuit and over-temperature, and has strong electromagnetic interference resistance. Operating principle
In essence, DSSA165 48990001-LY operating principle is an AC-DC isolated voltage stabilizing power supply that supplies power to the DCS control layer.
