Grounding Parameters: The grounding voltage is -12 V DC, without ground fault, and the ground fault setting is 30 V to +125 V DC. The maximum grounding current can be set between 5.5 mA (±1 mA) or 25.0 mA (±5 mA).
Contact output: Maximum output voltage is 115 V DC, maximum output current is 2 A.
Relay contacts: Initial contact resistance is 30 mohm; Maximum current is 5 A; Maximum switching voltage is 250 VDC/250 VAC; Maximum switching load is 100 W/1000VA. Expected electrical life is 100,000 switching operations, expected mechanical life is 200,000,000 switching operations
Function
Earth leakage monitoring: The HONEYWELL 10310/2/1 can detect ground faults at 24 VDC, 48 VDC, 60 VDC or 110 VDC in the system, thus successfully discovering electrical hazards.
Ground connection monitoring: Continuous or intermittent ground connection monitoring. In intermittent mode, the user can set a frequency of 1 Hz or 0.25 Hz, while for visible monitoring, the mode green LED on the front of the module will flash at the selected frequency. This allows easy visual confirmation that monitoring is ongoing.
Self-test: Can be initiated manually or triggered by input or feedback circuit (RST 24 and RST 110) for self-test. This reliably verifies the integrity of the function and enhances the reliability of the entire system. Reset: Manually or by applying a high signal on RST 24 or RST 110 provides flexibility for system operation and maintenance.
Test function: The device is able to self-test its own ground connection using a 1.5 kohm resistor or a resistor from ground to pin 2, quickly verifying the integrity of the detection circuit.
Application Areas
Industrial automation: In various industrial automation systems, like manufacturing plants, it is used as a monitoring device and safety; its basic functions include the investigation and management of electrical safety through equipment and distribution systems. Ground leakage detection of DC power supplies helps prevent electrical accidents and equipment damage, so that processes can run smoothly.
Power distribution: In the distribution network, especially in DC power systems, 10310/2/1 is particularly used to monitor the insulation status of the system. The unit quickly identifies any internal ground faults that occur and signals the operator to alert them so that maintenance can be carried out promptly, minimizing the possibility of power failures or electrical fires.
Telecommunications: In telecom base stations and data centers where reliable power is critical, the product monitors ground leakage in DC power systems. This in turn protects sensitive electronic equipment from electrical faults and ensures uninterrupted operation of communication services.
Renewable Energy Systems: In solar and wind farms, the HONEYWELL 10310/2/1 can be used to monitor DC power generation and distribution systems. It helps improve the reliability and safety of renewable energy generation and grid integration through rapid ground fault detection.
