Installation Guide
Important Note! Since 3BHB003041R0001 is a board card integrated within the PMAC kit, the installation process does not mean installing it onto a DIN rail or frame. Instead, in a maintenance scenario, it should be replaced onto the corresponding PMAC kit motherboard. This operation must be carried out by an ABB-certified service engineer and must strictly follow ABB's official maintenance manual. Operation Procedure
Safety Preparation
Complete power outage ensures that the entire PMAC suite and its upstream power sources have been completely disconnected, and the locking/labeling procedure is executed.
Release residual energy. Wait for a sufficient amount of time for the DC bus capacitors inside the drive to fully discharge.
Anti-static measures Wear an anti-static wristband and operate on an anti-static workbench.
Remove old boards
Open the casing of the PMAC suite, find the UF C719 AE I/O control board.
Carefully disconnect all cables, connectors, or terminals connected to this board, and mark them for prevention of confusion.
Loosen and remove the screws or clips that fix the board.
Smoothly remove the old board from the socket or track.
Install new board
Visual inspection of the new 3BHB003041R0001 board confirms no physical damage.
Align the direction and smoothly, vertically insert the new board into the corresponding socket on the main board, ensuring all pins are fully in place.
Re-fix the screws or clips of the board.
Reconnect all cables and connectors according to the markings, one by one and firmly.
Power on and verification
Reassemble the casing of the PMAC suite.
Release LOTO, power on step by step according to the procedures.
Use ABB DriveComposer or related HMI to check if there are any I/O-related fault codes in the system.
Test I/O functions to verify if the input signals can be correctly read and the output signals can correctly drive the field equipment.
Again, emphasize!! This installation process involves high-voltage power electronic equipment. Improper operation may lead to serious personal injury or equipment damage. Non-professionals are strictly prohibited from operating.
