Product Using Principle
ABB NCSA-01 can receive control commands sent by the master station via the CS 31 bus, which are encapsulated in the data set in the form of “data words.”
ABB NCSA-01 can convert CS 31 protocol data into DDCS protocol format and transmit it to the variable frequency drive via a fiber optic link. The operating status of the variable frequency drive is transmitted back to the NCSA-01 via the DDCS link, converted into CS 31 protocol, and sent to the master station.
ABB NCSA-01 can monitor the status of the CS 31 bus and DDCS link via built-in circuits. If a hardware fault is detected, it triggers an ERROR LED alarm.
If the module is located at the end of the CS 31 bus, enable the terminating resistor to reduce signal reflection and ensure stable communication.
