ABB PM803F features 16MB synchronous dynamic RAM (for real-time data and configuration, with battery backup), 8MB Flash EPROM (32-bit word length), supporting larger-scale project operations with reduced buffering time compared to the PM802F.
ABB PM803F supports 4 fieldbus module slots (F1-F4), compatible with PROFIBUS-DP (FI 830F), CAN (FI 810F), serial interface (FI 820F), and other modules, capable of connecting up to 126 PROFIBUS slave stations.

ABB PM803F synchronizes configuration and real-time data with the AC 800F via the Ethernet module, in the event of a main unit failure, the unit immediately takes over to ensure control continuity. PROFIBUS line redundancy is achieved by converting a single line to a dual redundant line via the RLM01 module.
In the event of a power outage, RAM data is maintained by power from the Ethernet module or battery module to prevent configuration loss. When the battery is low, an LED alarm alerts the user to replace it.
