Each channel is equipped with a 2.5A non-replaceable fuse, supporting reverse polarity protection to prevent abnormal voltages from damaging the module. Each channel can be configured with a 1ms or 10ms filter time, effectively suppressing on-site noise and ensuring signal stability.

Allen Bradley 1746-IV32 features four independent common-mode terminals, allowing connection to sensors of different voltage levels and reducing external power supply complexity. It supports 15-30V DC input (at 50°C), compatible with various industrial sensor signals.

Product Working Principle

The DC signal from the field device is connected to the module via a terminal block, with each group of channels having an independent power supply for the common terminal.

Allen Bradley 1746-IV32 can convert the analog signals to digital signals (0 and 1 values) and send that digital signal to the SLC 500 PLC Processor over the backplane bus.

Allen Bradley 1746-IV32 Builtin digital filters remove high frequency noise, 1500V AC Isolation on I/O provides reliable signals and protection from high voltage spikes.
