Allen Bradley 1769-IA16 supports 16-point 120V AC input, with 16 points grouped together and sharing a common terminal (COM) internally, simplifying wiring.  

Allen Bradley 1769-IA16 features built-in input filtering functionality to suppress false triggers caused by voltage transients, contact bounce, and electrical noise.  

Allen Bradley 1769-IA16 employs an optical isolation design, isolating the logic circuit from the field circuit to protect the module from external electrical interference and transient damage.

Each input point is paired with an independent indicator light, providing an intuitive display of the input signal's on/off status. The removable terminal block features a finger-safe cover, facilitating wiring and maintenance.

Allen Bradley 1769-IA16 supports DIN rail mounting or panel mounting. Modules are mechanically locked together via a tongue-and-groove structure, and integrated communication buses enable inter-module communication through removable bus connectors.


Product Working Principle

After the external 120V AC signal is connected to the module input terminal, Allen Bradley 1769-IA16 is processed by the internal filter circuit to remove noise and transient interference.

The optical isolation circuit isolates the high-voltage field signal from the low-voltage logic circuit to prevent interference or damage to the controller.

The processed signal is converted into a digital signal by the internal logic circuit, transmitted to the controller via the integrated communication bus, and the input status is displayed in real time by the indicator light.
