Instructions
Connection: With power off, connect one end of the cable with a connector to the signal output of the eddy current probe and the other end to the probe signal input of the preamplifier. Tighten the connector nuts.
Wiring Requirements: Avoid running parallel to power cables, maintaining a spacing of ≥30cm. Crossing cables must be perpendicular to minimize electromagnetic coupling.
Inspection and Maintenance: Regularly (every 6 months) inspect the cable to ensure the sheath is intact and the shielding is not exposed. Measure the cable continuity (using the resistance setting on a multimeter; normal resistance is ≤5Ω). If the signal is abnormal, first check the connectors for proper contact, then verify the integrity of the cable.
