Product Features

Bently Nevada 330707-00-62-10-01-00 measures vibration and position in non-contact fashion within the 0 - 8 kHz frequency band, and is appropriate for many machinery monitoring applications.

Bently Nevada 330707-00-62-10-01-00 employs ClickLoc connectors for tight connection, nullification of probe loosening, a patented TipLoc molding process for improved probe tip-to-body connection, and CableLoc-designed probe cable connections, which attaches securely to the probe tip and endure a pulling force of up to 330N (75 lb).

Bently Nevada 330707-00-62-10-01-00 is offered with optional FluidLoc cabling for no oil or other leaks, a connector protector protects the connector in wet locations, and safety wire mounting holes with locking nuts (included as standard) secure the probe.

Product Using Principle

Bently Nevada 330707-00-62-10-01-00 is based on the eddy current effect, the probe generates an alternating magnetic field, when close to the metal target, the target surface generates eddy currents, affecting the inductance of the probe, which in turn changes the output voltage, and realizes vibration and displacement measurements by measuring the change in output voltage to determine the distance between the probe and the target.

Bently Nevada 330707-00-62-10-01-00 is commonly used for axial (thrust) position measurement of fluid film bearing machines, slope differential expansion measurement of steam turbines, piston rod position or drop measurement of reciprocating compressors, rotational and zero speed measurement, and phase reference (keyer) signal acquisition.

Product Parameters

Electrical Parameters:

Proximitor sensors are powered from - 23Vdc to - 26Vdc

power supply sensitivity is less than 2mV/V, output resistance 50Ω

Proximitor DC resistance varies with length, e.g. 5.9 ± 0.5Ω for a 1 meter long probe

Linear Range:

Linear range is 0.5 - 4.5mm (20 - 180mils)

corresponds to an output voltage of approximately - 1 to - 17Vdc

recommends a gap setting of 2.5mm (100mils)

Temperature Ranges:

Probe operating and storage temperature range is - 52°C to + 177°C (- 62°F to + 351°F)

Proximitor sensor operating temperature range is - 52°C to + 100°C (- 62°F to + 212°F)

storage temperature range is - 52°C to + 105°C (- 62°F to + 221°F)
