Compatible and Interchangeable

The 330780-91-CN can be used in conjunction with the 3300 XL 11 mm probe and 3300 XL 11 mm extension cable to create a complete measurement system.

3300XL sensor replaces existing 7200 Series 11 mm and 14 mm sensor systems. Upgrading from the 7200 Series requires replacing all components (probes, extension cables, and proximity sensors) with 11 mm 3300 XL components and upgrading the corresponding monitoring system.

Bently Nevad 11 mm Proximitor sensor is not compatible with other standard Bentley Nevada systems (e.g., 5 mm, 8 mm, and NSv Type 3300 XL systems).

Performance Degradation

Bently Nevada system offers a wide linear range which extending from approximately 0.5 mm to 4.0 mm in front of the target. The average scale factor is 3.94 V/mm. It differs from standard 8 mm systems. So careful system configuration is required.

The typical sensor frequency response is 0 to 8 kHz, accurately capturing the dynamic behavior of most large rotating machinery.

To ensure measurement accuracy and avoid crosstalk, a shaft diameter of 152 mm or greater is recommended for radial vibration measurements. Applications with smaller shaft diameters may require narrower or wider probe spacing.

The maximum field cable length from the 330780-91-CN proximity sensor to the monitor is 305 m. When the cable length is too long, high-frequency signals may be attenuated.
