Product Function

System Monitoring: The 10005/1/1 module mainly deals with the operating status of the system. There are also current checks for overvoltage and undervoltage (5V DC ± 5%) on the 5V DC voltage, as well as memory error logic running in the CPU, COM and MEM modules.

Automatic restart: In case of a fault or system unresponsiveness, the module stops receiving the "feed dog" signal and starts a restart process within a timeout option fixed at the beginning. This restores normal operating conditions and brings stability and reliability.

ESD protection: Independent of the processor, ESD inputs may de-energize the watchdog output. The input is 24V DC and therefore electrically isolated from the 5V DC internal bus, providing protection against electrostatic discharge burnout events.

Flexible configuration: The jumper settings of the 10005/1/1 module allow different configurations. For example, solder jumper SO3 in position 1 is suitable for situations where a manual start command is always required. The jumper in position 2 is suitable for applications that start automatically after the application is turned on (hot start), and a manual reset command is still required even after the system has been tripped.

Data communication: Communication interfaces such as RS-232, RS-422, RS-485 and Ethernet can easily communicate with other devices and facilitate data transmission and exchange in industrial automation.
