The core function of Emerson A6110 is to monitor shaft vibration in real time through non-contact measurement technology, providing early fault warning and equipment protection.

Technical parameters

Sensor type: Eddy current displacement sensor (such as PR642 series), non-contact measurement of shaft position and vibration

Input range: 0 to -22 VDC.

Frequency range: lower limit 1/5 Hz, upper limit 50–2000 Hz (adjustable)

Output signal

Digital signal: integrated into the AMS 6500 system.

Analog output: 0/4-20 mA, 0-10 V proportional output.

Operating temperature: -20°C to +70°C

Number of channels: Dual channels, can simultaneously monitor X/Y direction vibration or combined mode

Dimensions and power supply: 3U size (1 slot).

Functional Characteristics

High-precision monitoring: Emerson A6110 using high-precision eddy current sensor, the measurement accuracy is ±2%, and supports a variety of analysis modes (such as peak to peak, zero to peak, etc.).

Fault warning and protection: Dynamic alarm thresholds can be set, supporting 0-36 seconds alarm delay to prevent false triggering, and detect typical mechanical faults such as bearing wear, shaft misalignment, and imbalance.

Principle of Use

Emerson A6110 uses eddy current sensors (such as the PR642 series) to non-contactly measure the relative displacement between the shaft and the bearing box. The sensor converts mechanical vibration into electrical signals, outputs vibration amplitude, frequency and other parameters after module processing, and triggers an alarm by comparing with the preset threshold.

Application scenario: Applicable to sliding bearing equipment, monitoring shaft vibration, eccentricity, oil film thickness, etc.
