Product Description

The CPUM 200-595-045-114 is an Ethernet redundant CPUM rack controller card for the VM600 system, compatible with the ABE04x rack. It is often combined with IOCN cards to form a communication card pair and serves as the management and communication core of the entire rotating machinery protection system. 200-595-045-114 is equipped with board card configuration management, hot-swellable automatic configuration, local LCD human-machine interaction, and full rack alarm reset functions. It supports multiple protocols such as Modbus RTU/TCP and PROFINET, and can be used as a gateway to upload vibration and alarm data to DCS and PLC. 200-595-045-114 has no extended serial port and does not support hardware redundancy. Hardware function

The CPUM 200-595-045-114 is the controller and communication gateway core of the VM600 rack, equivalent to the management brain of the entire machine. 


1. Rack management: Manage the MPC4 and AMC8 protection monitoring cards within the rack, support hot-swapping of protection cards, and automatically load configurations. 

2. Data relay: Read the protection card data through the VME bus, and provide a standardized fieldbus interface externally to forward vibration, rotational speed, and alarm status to the DCS/PLC. 

3. Local human-machine interaction: The front panel LCD display, buttons, and alarm reset buttons enable local viewing of measurement points and manual reset of alarms throughout the entire frame. 

4. Logs and Security: Local non-volatile event logs are stored, equipped with rack safety locks to restrict Ethernet side modification protection logic, meeting critical infrastructure security standards. 

The IOCN card is matched to complete the interface lead-out, achieving signal isolation and EMI surge protection, and leading the internal network port and serial port of the CPU to the panel terminal.



Core Functions

1. Configuration management

Through the MPSx software, the "one-click" configuration of the protection card is achieved via Ethernet/RS232, and the configuration is automatically restored after hot plugging. 

2. Local display operation

The LCD shows the measurement point value, bar graph alarm, board card operation duration, IP address, and security status. The SLOT/OUT button switches the slot and channel, and the AR button on the panel resets the latch alarm of all protection cards in the entire rack with one click. 

3. Multi-protocol gateway

Supports Modbus-TCP, ModBUS-RTU, and PROFINET; Dual Ethernet and multiple serial ports can work simultaneously, supporting communication redundancy. Maximum support for 131072 registers and coil data points; 

4. Event Logging

Up to 10,000 system event and measurement event logs can be stored locally and downloaded through the MPSx software for fault backtracking. Support NTP time synchronization; 

5. Security Protection

Dual security mechanisms of hardware access lock and software password prevent external network tampering and protect system parameters. 

6. Status indication

DIAG, OK, Alert, Danger LED, visually displaying the alarm status of the card and measurement point. 7. Hardware parameters: AMD Geode LX800 500MHz processor, 256MB DRAM, QNX system; Power consumption < 10W, powered by 5VDC; Operating temperature: -20 to 65℃.
