Sensor Input: EPRO MMS6410 has two independent inputs for inductive sensors and differential transformers in half-bridge or full-bridge configurations. These inputs are electrically isolated, open-circuit and short-circuit protected, with a maximum input voltage of 3.6 V (overvoltage protection) and a nominal input voltage range of 2.5 V rms. The input impedance is 200 kΩ.
Measurement Range: The measurement range depends on the sensor measurement range, and one or both outputs can be inverted.
Sensor Power Supply: Each input includes a separate buffered output for powering inductive sensors, with a carrier frequency of 4.75 kHz, a nominal supply voltage of 4 V rms, and an allowable load of 120 - 600 Ω.
Control Input: Two channels have common logic binary inputs, and the optocoupler modes include "pre-alarm (alarm)", open or closed mode and "main alarm (danger)", open or closed mode. It also features channel or module suppression and limit multipliers for changing alarm limits during machine startup and shutdown. The 24 V logic input resistance is > 10 kΩ and there is a key pulse input of 1 pulse per revolution for analysis purposes.
Outputs: The module has potential-free optocoupler outputs at the rear connector, the communication interface RS485 provides one current output per channel, proportional to the measuring range and the selected variable, one voltage output per channel, proportional to the selected variable and the measuring range, and one voltage output per channel, proportional to the sensor signal.
Power supply: The module has redundant power supply inputs, via two power supply inputs, diode decoupled, with a supply voltage of 18 - 24 - 31.2 V dc and a power consumption of max. 8 W (max. 300 mA at 24 V).
Environmental conditions: The module has IP00 protection class in accordance with DIN 40050, while the front plate has IP21 protection class in accordance with DIN 40050. The operating temperature range is 0 - +65 °C, while the storage and transport temperature range is -30 - +85 °C. The permissible relative humidity is 5 - 95% without condensation and it is able to withstand the permissible vibrations and shocks in accordance with IEC 68-2 Part 6 and Part 29.

Measurement and calculation: The EPRO MMS6410 is a dual-channel measuring amplifier capable of measuring shaft displacement with inductive sensors or differential transformers in half-bridge or full-bridge configuration. Each measuring channel works independently or calculates the sum or difference of the measurement results of two channels. It is able to measure static and dynamic signals: displacement, angle, force, torsion or any other physical quantity that can be measured with an inductive sensor.
Sensor monitoring and module monitoring: The module has functions such as sensor signal monitoring, wiring, system supply voltage, configuration, parameter setting, measurement values, module operating temperature, system watchdog, etc., to ensure a reliable and accurate measurement system. Alarm and limit monitoring: Each channel can set alarm value and danger value separately. It has pre-alarm, main alarm channel, limit value multiplier, alarm output mode, and alarm hold function. Each channel has 4 alarm outputs, all of which are open collector outputs, independent of each other and isolated from the main circuit.
Synchronization: When multiple EPRO MMS6410 modules work in the same system, the synchronization of the carrier frequency oscilloscope is very important. EPRO MMS6410 can work in the main monitoring mode to send synchronization signals to other monitors, or work in the slave monitoring mode to receive synchronization signals from other monitors. Configuration and communication: The module provides RS232 and RS485 interfaces. The RS232 interface is used for configuration and data exchange with the module, and the RS485 interface is used to connect to EPRO's MMS6800 analysis and diagnosis system or host computer, so as to be smoothly integrated into a larger monitoring and control system.
