Principle of Use

PR6423/10R-030 realizes non-contact measurement based on eddy current effect.

Working mechanism: EPRO PR6423/10R-030 has a built-in high-frequency coil (1-2 MHz), which generates an alternating magnetic field on the surface of the metal shaft and forms a closed eddy current.

Shaft vibration or displacement causes eddy current changes, causing coil impedance changes. The preamplifier converts the impedance signal into a voltage/current signal, which corresponds to the gap change linearly

Signal processing: The preamplifier demodulates, amplifies and linearizes the original signal, outputs a standardized signal (such as 4-20 mA or 0-10 V), and integrates a temperature compensation module to eliminate the influence of ambient temperature on accuracy (error <±1% FS).

Note: EPRO PR6423/10R-030 is often used in conjunction with CON021 signal converter to enhance signal processing capabilities.

EPRO PR6423 provides different cable lengths (0.3 m to 10 m), interface types (Lemo or M12) and installation method (standard/reverse).
