Functional Characteristics

Redundancy:  GE 8851-LCMT offers optional redundancy with bumpless transfer.That is, if the master control fails, the backup control can control it without interruption, thus improving the operation reliability of the system.

Event Logging:  It can Log max 8000 events for debug purpose. You are able to identify issues and take appropriate actions quickly, based on detailed event records.

Configuration:  GE 8851-LCMT supports online configuration, reconfiguration, and hot swappable modules. The system configuration can be adjusted by users and components can be replaced without shutting down the system, facilitating maintenance and upgrades of the system and reducing system downtime.

Fault Diagnosis

Self-Diagnostic Function:  GE 8851-LCMT is equipped with a complete self-diagnostic system that continuously detects internal components and functions, including the power supply module, communication interfaces, processing units, etc., for efficient operation. A fault generates related alarm messages and diagnostic information as to the precise location and nature of the fault.

Communication Monitoring: The dual-redundant Ethernet LAN ports allow for monitoring communication errors or interruptions. The system will generate an alarm to inform the maintenance personnel when a communication fault occurs, the subsystem will reroute the communication automatically, and communication can still continue.
