Product Description

The GE DS200NATOG3A is a voltage feedback attenuation board for the GE LS2100 static starter, compatible with the Mark V turbine control system, but cannot operate independently. The on-board precision resistor voltage divider network proportionally attenuates the high-voltage signal of the SCR bridge and converts it into a low-voltage feedback signal to be sent to the main control, achieving closed-loop voltage regulation during the generator start-up stage. The voltage divider position can be switched through a needle jumper. It comes with built-in test points for on-site verification, featuring high measurement accuracy and strong industrial reliability. It is mainly used for static starting devices of large gas/steam turbine generators in thermal power plants and combined cycle power stations. There is a high voltage risk during operation. When disassembling and assembling, anti-static measures must be taken and a power-off sign should be hung

Usage Notes

1. High-voltage hazard: The input terminal of the board card is directly taken from the SCR high-voltage bridge. Do not touch the board card components or needle connectors when it is powered on. Maintenance must strictly follow the procedures of power-off, LOTO, locking and listing. 

2. The model cannot be replaced at will: DS200NATOG3A is not backward compatible with the old version of NATO board. When replacing the board card, the complete part number must be verified. It is not allowed to directly use old boards such as DS200NATOG2A as substitutes. 

3. Jumpers must not be modified at will: The pin jumpers determine the attenuation ratio. Incorrect jumpers can cause feedback voltage distortion, leading to SCR overvoltage, unit start-up failure, and even burning out the rear control board. Before modifying the jumpers, the drawings must be checked. 

4. Environmental requirements: The control cabinet should be kept dust-proof and dehumidified. Dust, condensation and corrosive gases are prohibited. The board card is a PCB circuit board. Avoid vibration and shock. 

5. Electrostatic protection (ESD) : When disassembling, assembling or replacing the board card, an anti-static wristband must be worn. Static electricity can damage the precision resistors inside the board, causing drift and failure of accuracy. 

6. Fault diagnosis: When the feedback voltage is abnormal, first check whether the high-voltage sampling circuit, wiring, and pin connectors are oxidized or loose. It does not necessarily mean that the board card is damaged. The TP test points on the board can be used for segmented troubleshooting. 

7. All the supporting board cards are indispensable: If this board alone cannot work, it must be combined with the VME backplane and the gate distribution status board to form a complete LCI control circuit
