Functional Characteristics

Isolated Output Points:GE IC200MDL940 has sixteen isolated or form A contacts. With the built-in channel-to-channel isolation,  each contact output can be wired to different voltage sources and utilized in complex environments without interference between channels.

Reliable Relay and Contact: The embedded relay adopts fixed coil and moving armature structure, whose contacts are also silver alloy material, so its service life and switch reliability are above the industry standard to ensure the output of the module is stable and reliable.

Low Power Consumption: GE IC200MDL940 with a five-volt output backplane (which provides the primary power source) can draw up to 490 milliamps of current and has low power consumption which reduces the power load of the whole system.

Fault Diagnosis

Output Voltage and Current Measurement:Check the measured values against the normal output voltage and current range. However, if the measured data is far away from the normal range, it may indicate that there is a problem with the module's power supply circuit, relay contacts, or external load.

Isolation Resistance Test: Use megohmmeter to test the insulation resistance between GE IC200MDL940 input and output, as well as between channels. The lower isolation resistance than normal may mean the insulation performance of the module has a problem, beyond the signal interference, may even damage the equipment.
