Product Features
Redundant CPU Capability: GE IC695CMU310 Offers complete on hot CPU redundancy between a pair of Rx3i systems. Redundant controllers can swap operating data over one or two separate Ethernet LANs, featuring continual operation and high system availability. This allows the I/O states to remain intact while switching to the backup CPU within two or three CPU logic scans in case the main CPU is unable to perform its function.
Flexible Programming: For high flexibility, Ladder diagram, structured text, function block diagram and C programming languages are also supported. By doing this, users can select the corresponding programming method that is most suitable for them based on their own needs and programming habits, which makes the programming process more flexible and convenient.
Plenty of Memory: 10MB battery - backed user memory and optional 10MB non - volatile flash user memory provide ample space for user programs and data.
Installation
Mounting: Install GE IC695CMU310 module into the correct position of Rx3i universal backplane Also make sure the module is locked in and well connected. Note the orientation of the module as it inserts so you do not insert it incorrectly.
Troubleshooting
Redundancy Failure: If GE IC695CMU310 suddenly stops redundancy, first check the Ethernet LAN connection and configuration between the two Rx3i systems. Make sure that the network connection is normal, and the IP address and other network parameters are set correctly. Then check the redundant controllers operation status & the software setting and check the max - on application logic to see redundancy control logic is correct.
Communication Error: If the communication error occurs, verify the communication cable connection to see if it is securely connected without any damage. This needs to be adjusted to the actual communication parameters setting-- baud rate, data bits, stop bits, and parity bits. If you’re able to, swap or connect the communication cable to a different device to troubleshoot the issue.
Program exceptions: If the program runs abnormally, first to check the program code for any errors or increase logic contradictions. Check the program's running status and the values of some variables using the debugging tool of the programming software. Keep the program updated to the latest version or modified and corrected as the case requires.
Application range
Industrial automation: GE IC695CMU310 can be widely applied in production line control system in the manufacturing industry, such as automobile manufacturing, food processing, pharmaceutical production. It has very strong networking functions, can control different production equipment, can monitor production processes in real time, and can be adjusted through programming process to improve production efficiency, product quality and safe production.
Power Generation and Distribution: GE IC695CMU310 can be used in the field of power generation and distribution for control and monitoring of power generation equipment, substations, and distribution systems. Taking the thermal power plant as an example, it controls the operation of the boiler, turbine and generator set, and monitors the parameters of the power grid to ensure the stable operation of the power system and the safety of power supply.
