Anti-grid disturbance: Industrial mains power is often accompanied by voltage sags, harmonics, surges and other interferences. A well-designed 24VDC bus is usually cleaner and more stable. The RPS6U DC module is free from these AC-side issues, thus potentially providing a more stable internal power output.

Personnel safety: 24VDC is classified as a safety ultra-low voltage. During the maintenance process, even if the terminal blocks are accidentally touched, the risk of electric shock to the operators is extremely low, far superior to handling 115/230VAC. This is a significant safety advantage in on-site cabinets with limited space and a humid environment.

Provide a foundation for high-level redundant architectures
