Usage Parameters

Channels: The Vibration XIO16T is part of the VM600 vibration monitoring and surveillance system, providing up to 16 dynamic channels and up to 4 tachometer channels. Each channel can be independently configured, allowing flexibility to be customized to specific monitoring needs.

Data Acquisition: Data acquisition is recorded at 24-bit resolution. It provides high-resolution and very accurate data collection. Simultaneous data acquisition on each channel enables asynchronous (fixed frequency) or synchronous (sequential tracking) sampling to monitor multiple signals in real time and synchronously.

Resolution and Processing: High signal-to-noise ratio data processing, recording 6400 lines of Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) data every 500 milliseconds. High-resolution FFT allows detailed spectral analysis to accurately pinpoint vibration characteristics and frequencies.

Inputs and Outputs: Each dynamic channel and tachometer channel has a differential signal input; this improves interference immunity or signal robustness and data acquisition accuracy. On the output side, it integrates with the VM600 to provide processed data and signals suitable for further analysis and control.

Power Supply and Compatibility: The Vibration XIO16T operates at 220V and has an output frequency of 60Hz. It is fully compliant with the VM600 Mk2/VM600 rack-mount machinery monitoring system and can be built into an existing setup.

Vibration Monitoring and Analysis: The Vibration XIO16T enables extensive machinery vibration monitoring and analysis remote sensing by collecting data from its 16 dynamic channels. This allows the weakest to moderately minute vibrations in machinery and equipment to sense and diagnose potential problems, including imbalance, misalignment, bearing wear and resonance. Its detailed spectrum analysis represented on a high-resolution FFT provides scope for subsequent accurate diagnosis of source diagnostics.

Speed Monitoring: The 4 tachometer channels allow the speed of the rotating shaft of the component to be measured. Data Communication and Integration: The Vibration XIO16T demonstrates its communication capabilities with VibroSight through an eight-position, eight-contact RJ45 Ethernet connector; into some centralized control or monitoring systems. In addition, it follows simple command processing for communication networks of RS-232, RS-485 communication interfaces in industrial automation.

Programmable Logic and Customization: The XIO16T module supports programmable logic, allowing users to configure custom control logic based on their application needs.
