CP216 143-216-000-251 is a high-performance piezoelectric dynamic pressure sensor designed for extreme industrial environments. It uses compression mode piezoelectric sensing technology and is suitable for dynamic pressure pulsation monitoring in gas turbine combustion chambers, nuclear power plant cooling systems, etc. It is particularly good at long-term stable operation in high temperature, high pressure and potentially explosive environments.
Technical Parameters
Sensitivity: 200 pC/bar (about 13.8 pC/psi).
Dynamic range; 0.0005 bar to 250 bar (corresponding to 0.007 psi to 3625 psi).
Frequency response: 2 Hz to 15,000 Hz (covering low-frequency pulsation to high-frequency impact detection).
Linearity error: <±1% (within full range).
Operating temperature: -54°C to +470°C (standard industrial version).
Protection level: IP67 (dustproof and waterproof, suitable for outdoor and harsh industrial environments).
Cable configuration: optional mineral insulated cable, length support. 0.5m/1m/2m/3m/5m, connector type optional LEMO or high temperature special interface.
Overload capacity: 350 bar.
Resonant frequency: >80 kHz.
Core Functions and Principles
Piezoelectric dynamic pressure detection: Through the piezoelectric effect of artificial piezoelectric materials (such as quartz crystals), mechanical pressure is converted into a charge signal, and the charge amount proportional to the pressure change is output (sensitivity is 200 pC/bar). An external charge amplifier (such as IPC704) is required to convert the charge signal into a standard current/voltage signal.
Adaptability to extreme environments: It adopts mineral insulated (MI) cable and high temperature resistant shell design, adapts to the temperature range of -54°C to +470°C, and supports long-term monitoring of ultra-high temperature scenes such as gas turbine combustion chambers.
Explosion-proof and safety certification: It has passed Ex ib explosion-proof certification and can be used safely in explosive gas environments.
