The official name is "Turbine Protection Digital Output", and it is commonly referred to as the JPDD card. As the core component that executes the final trip action in the Mark VIe TMR architecture, the JPDD card plays the role of a "safety actuator". The JPDD card receives three independent and voted trip commands from the Mark VIe controller and, through its internal safety relay logic, drives the hard-wired dry contact relay output after confirming that all conditions are met, directly cutting off the fuel supply, main steam valve, or other critical safety equipment control circuits of the gas turbine or steam turbine, thereby achieving a rapid, reliable, and deterministic emergency shutdown. The G1A suffix represents its hardware revision version.
