Redundant Support: Single I/O pack with no redundancy (one I/O Ethernet connection), single I/O pack with two Ethernet connections per I/O, hot-backup Ethernet connections (two ports).

Processing Items: Manages two types of data flow between the PPRF and the controller: fixed I/O and PROFIBUS I/O. The fixed I/O consists of shared inputs and outputs, while the PROFIBUS I/O is configured per the hardware configuration supplied by the application.


Installation

Mount: An electronic ID is also available through the PROFIBUS master gateway terminal board (SPI DG 1A) where the PPRF is usually mounted.

Connection: The PROFIBUS connection connects at the DE-9 D-sub receptacle connector exposed on the side of the PPRF. As for the connections, all of them should be secure and also connected based on the requirements of the system.
